Social media personality and comedian Carter Efe emerged victorious in the highly anticipated celebrity boxing match against street-pop artist Habeeb ‘Portable’ Badmus on Friday night. The bout served as the headliner for the Chaos in the Ring 4 event, held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island.
Following the announcement of the result, prominent businessman and socialite Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo officially confirmed he would honor his pre-fight pledge of ₦50 million to Efe.
“We put our money where our mouth is,” Okonkwo stated after the match. “Congratulations to Carter on his win. Fifty million naira for you.”
Fight Breakdown: Precision Over Power
Despite Portable’s history of success in celebrity exhibition matches—having previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington—he struggled to find his rhythm against the taller Efe.
Portable opened the first round with his characteristic aggressive and erratic style. However, Efe maintained composure, utilizing his reach advantage to land sharp uppercuts and consistent body shots. By the second and third rounds, Portable’s reliance on wide swings and clinching proved ineffective against Efe’s disciplined combinations.
The judges scored the bout 27-30 across the board, awarding Efe a unanimous decision victory and the ceremonial celebrity boxing crown.

The victory marks a definitive end to a month-long verbal feud between Efe and Portable, cementing Efe’s position in the growing landscape of Nigerian celebrity exhibition boxing.
