Popular herbal entrepreneur and social media influencer Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, has issued a formal apology following the unauthorized release of a private "threesome" video involving herself, her husband, Adesola Hakeem, and another woman.
The footage, which began circulating on Monday, sparked intense debate across digital platforms. While some social media users expressed disapproval of the act, others questioned the ethics of the leak itself.
A Plea for Forgiveness
In a vulnerable statement posted to her verified Facebook account on Wednesday, Fagbemi took full responsibility for the situation. She revealed that the scandal has taken a severe toll on her mental health, noting that she has been unable to eat or sleep, even with the aid of medication.
"I own my mistakes, and I apologize with all sincerity for the video circulating online. I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me," Fagbemi wrote. "Please let’s move on past this because this media is where I get little support to feed... I am already passing through a lot."
She further appealed for empathy from her followers, expressing a fear of self-harm due to the overwhelming public backlash and the "phase" she is currently navigating.
Rise to Fame and Recent Highlights
Fagbemi first gained internet fame by digitizing her grandmother’s traditional herbal medicine (Agbo) business, successfully exporting her products to international markets such as China and Qatar.
Her profile rose even further during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, following a viral encounter with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen. Fagbemi was filmed kneeling to greet the football star, a gesture that sparked a separate conversation regarding traditional Yoruba etiquette and celebrity culture.
Defending her actions at the time, she stated:
-
Respect as Culture: She maintained that kneeling was a sign of "maximum respect" for Osimhen’s achievements and humility.
-
Business Impact: She noted that the visibility from the encounter led to her stock selling out completely in Ibadan and Morocco.
-
Identity: She described herself as a "beautiful story" rising from an "ordinary agbo hawker" to a recognized brand.
Despite the current controversy, Fagbemi urged her supporters not to "condemn or castigate" her, emphasizing that her social media presence is her primary source of livelihood.
