President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and other intelligence agencies to intensify operations to secure the immediate release of victims abducted from a mosque in Niger State.
In an official statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president expressed strong condemnation over the attack and the killing of innocent citizens by criminal groups.
President Tinubu extended his condolences to the bereaved families, offering prayers for the deceased and wishing their loved ones strength during the difficult period. He assured the affected families that the nation stands with them and that authorities will maintain rescue efforts until every abducted individual is safely returned.
Furthermore, the president instructed military and security chiefs to provide continuous progress reports on the rescue mission. He emphasized the government's firm stance against criminal elements, highlighting the ongoing commitment to safeguarding communities and protecting human life.
