The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has affirmed the party’s complete focus on securing victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Kwankwaso shared this update following a meeting at his Abuja residence with the NDC National Leader, Seriake Dickson. Details of the briefing were subsequently published on Kwankwaso’s verified X (formerly Twitter) account.
During the meeting, Kwankwaso confirmed that Dickson had acknowledged the submission of his candidacy. He further announced that his name has been successfully uploaded onto the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, officializing his position as the running mate to the party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Kwankwaso described the party as united and steadfast in its objectives. He also briefed Dickson on his recent consultative engagements across the North West states, noting that the outreach had produced highly encouraging feedback for the party's campaign.
