ABUJA – During its recent National Convention, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) formally ratified the expulsion of several high-ranking members, citing serious breaches of party discipline and internal stability.

The decision followed a motion presented to the delegates, which detailed allegations of anti-party activities, the creation of unauthorized factions, and the instigation of disaffection among the party’s rank and file. After a deliberation period, the motion was supported and subsequently adopted by the convention delegates.

Official Statement: Party leadership emphasized that the move was necessary to preserve the integrity of the ADC and ensure a unified front ahead of upcoming political cycles.
