While stopping short of a formal legal accusation, Obi detailed a pattern of deliberate, systemic obstruction aimed at undermining his livelihoods and public engagements. He indicated that while government actions against him are often indirect, the targeted nature of these disruptions is clearly discernible.

According to Obi, these challenges represent a wider, coordinated effort by authorities to suppress political dissent across the country. He cited instances of being denied standard administrative entitlements and recounted a specific event at an airport where his vehicle was singularly targeted by security personnel.

Furthermore, Obi noted that the political pressure has severely impacted his social interactions.
