Arsenal secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, maintaining their flawless start to the Premier League season with nine points from their opening three fixtures.

Chelsea stunned the home crowd in the 2nd minute when Morgan Rodgers opened the scoring with a sharp volley. The Gunners thought they had equalized shortly after in the 12th minute, but the Video Assistant Referee disallowed the goal for offside.

The breakthrough finally arrived in the 25th minute through former Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. Latching onto a pass from Declan Rice, Havertz drifted to the right, cut inside, and fired a low shot past the near post.

Arsenal completed the turnaround just five minutes into the second half. Following a clever dummy by Havertz, new signing Christos Tzolis set up captain Martin Odegaard, who smashed home the decisive goal.

The result leaves Mikel Arteta's side second in the standings, level on points with league leaders Manchester City. Meanwhile, Chelsea sit fourth with six points, following earlier victories against Fulham and Brighton.
