EFCC Declares City Boys Movement Leader Halimat Tejuosho Wanted
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has officially declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho wanted in connection with alleged financial misconduct. Tejuosho is a prominent figure within the "City Boys Movement," a political support group.
In a public notice released on Monday via the agency’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the EFCC stated that Tejuosho is sought for an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence. The notice was formally signed by Dele Oyewale, the Commission's Head of Media and Publicity.
Call for Public Assistance
The anti-graft agency has appealed to the general public for any information that may lead to her whereabouts. Citizens are encouraged to:
-
Contact any EFCC office nationwide.
-
Reach out via the Commission’s official phone lines or email.

Profile and Political Role
The development comes shortly after Tejuosho’s recent elevation within the City Boys Movement. The organization had appointed her as the South-West Zonal Women Leader, a role designed to spearhead political mobilization and civic engagement.
According to a previous statement from the Movement, her responsibilities included:
-
Strategic Leadership: Coordinating women-focused activities across the South-West zone.
-
Advocacy: Driving grassroots engagement and political awareness among female constituents.
The City Boys Movement has not yet issued an official response regarding the EFCC’s declaration.
