Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke

Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, has won the Osun State governorship election with 511,067 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially declared him the winner during the result collation process.

Adeleke surpassed the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Oyebanji, who finished second with 444,815 votes. Other contenders included the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate with 17,180 votes and the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate with 1,458 votes.

According to official INEC data, the election recorded 2,339,544 registered voters, out of which 1,010,684 voters were accredited. Following the announcement, Adeleke has been officially returned as the governor elect of Osun State.
