In a recent interview with the BBC, 2027 African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar claimed to possess evidence that President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old and asserted his readiness to present this documentation in court if necessary. Contrasting himself with the incumbent, Atiku emphasized his own health, strength, and constitutional right to run for office, while defending his persistent presidential bids by pointing to his historical anti-military stance and past political disqualifications. 

Addressing national security, Atiku attributed Nigeria's current security challenges to governmental failures in defense and policing, promising to resolve these issues within his first year in office. He reiterated that his extensive experience, competence, and patriotism make him well-qualified to serve the nation.
