The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed reports of internal division, stating that the party remains united and focused on winning the 2027 presidential election.
The party cleared the air in a statement released via its official X account following a private meeting between national leader Seriake Dickson and presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Addressing the discussions, Dickson confirmed that the meeting served as an opportunity to review recent party developments and address internal concerns. He emphasized that all outstanding grievances were resolved amicably.
Moving forward, Dickson assured stakeholders that party members will maintain open lines of communication and continuous consultation to preserve internal unity and strengthen the party’s position ahead of the next general election.
