LONDON:  Chelsea Football Club has officially relieved Liam Rosenior of his duties as head coach after a disappointing tenure that saw the club suffer its worst offensive drought in over a century. The decision follows a demoralizing 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Tuesday, marking the Blues' fifth consecutive Premier League loss without scoring— a feat not seen at the club since 1912.

Rosenior, who joined Chelsea from fellow BlueCo-owned club Strasbourg on a five-and-a-half-year contract, managed just 11 wins in his 23 matches across all competitions.
